I'm getting my hair straightened in China and I heard MagicStraight was good, however when I looked up the basics on it, I became more worried about the side effects than the price. It says it causes more breakage and hinders the growth of the hair, and if the hair stylist isn't great, there will be awkward dents in the perm. Plus, it was also noted that if I tucked my hair behind my ear or use shampoo, it will cause dents as well...so I have to figure out how to keep my hair completely still for 2 days straight?? I think I'm addicted to cutting?

I am 13, I have been cutting for 6 monthes or so and I can't seem to stop. It scares me because if it leads to something worse. I've thought of suicide and have been amited into a mental hospital, I had to stay there for a week or so. I've been diagnosed with depression and I now that could be some of the reson why I cut. Only a few people know that I cut and I see a theripist and a phyciatrits, and I take antideprestents, but it still doesn't help. How to amplify split coax feed from DirecTV box.?

I have 1 box and my main tv is hooked up via rca cables. I have another tv in my bedroom and one in my garage both hooked up thru a 2way splitter that is attached to the coax output on the box. I also have repeaters in the bedroom and garage that forward a remote control signal to the box to change the channel. So all 3 tvs get the same tv show that the box is tuned to, but I can change channels from any where thru my repeaters. Now the question is what type coax amplifier do I need to boost the coax output since the picture is fuzzy due to long runs? Can I use any standard coax / catv amplifier... or for a dish setup do I need a special one? Points guaranteed for best. Im hoping I can just get the cheapest one that you use for standard UHF/VHF/CATV.

my maine coon loves flirting with his tail and he always flits it around even when he's sleeping (dreams, perhaps). i don't think there's anything wrong with that at all. as for the waxy tail, he also had a greasy spot at the base of his tail when he was younger. even after a bath and some good scrubbing, the greasy spot didn't go away! i didn't shave or bathe him again, but once in a while i just wiped that area with a pet towelette. it just kind of faded with time. maybe it's an adolescent thing, since he was about the same age as yours and it's cleared up totally.

Question about DMV's in California?

I need to renew an old registration for a car of mine. I have the money and insurrance for it. However, I need a smog check and I'm sure my car wont p. On top of that, it needs mechanical maintanance (it's a 91). South Florida Trip: What to Pack for Early January Weather?

I will be in Ft. Lauderdale, Miami and South Beach for 5 days on vacation the first week of January. I am not sure what to pack. I am on a college student's budget of what i can buy for the trip. Why can't you mix rechargeable and alkaline batteries? If item takes 4 batts, are 2 alk and 2 rechargeable ok?

Ideally you want all of the batteries in a set to have very similar discharge rates. If the rate at which they give up their charge is quite different, the weaker batteries will draw charge from the stronger ones instead of using it to work the actual circuit. Not a good thing for either type of battery (what happens to a non-rechargeable battery when you try to recharge it? what happens to a rechargeable battery when you try to charge it using the wrong polarity?). The best thing is to have all the batteries in a set at least of the same type, and preferably having the same level of charge.

You must think you are clever enough to have been a pilot in the first place, and I think that you might just be.... Why don't you use that brain of yours and channelling it into proving to yourself that you're not a failure and do something else such as.... training to do something in connection with aircraft. It's devestating when you cant do what you want to do, but accept it and progress from here. Mother-in-law is paranoid about ball pythons...?

My mother-in-law is afraid somebody will find out that we own two ball pythons and call DHS and our son will be taken. These snakes are very tame and I know for a fact that they are harmless, no venom, no fangs, they don't constrict, they will only grow to be 4-5 ft. etc. We take all precautions and are responsible owners, our son is 3 1/2 and doesn't mess with them, we don't even let him hold them even though they are very gentle and have never bitten. They stay in secure containers and never roam free in the house. She knows they cant hurt my son but it's the DHS part she's afraid of. She is paranoid about it to the point that she lies to the foster kids she has telling them that we don't own them, that we are keeping them for somebody and telling them not to tell anybody they're here. I'm tired of her nagging about them all the time and don't really know what to do or say. I don't believe you can get in trouble for owning a harmless pet but cant tell her that. She's one of those that are always in our business and letting us know what we "should" and "shouldn't" do.

I just don't understand what the appeal is with these "american bully" dogs are. People actually think these are pit bulls and its damaging the entire breed. Even if they are a so called breed now ppl still consider them pit bulls and that is so wrong. And since when is there 'bully' type american bulldogs. Their was nothing wrong with the breed to begin with. The only dog that I seen on that website that looked like its supposed to was the English Bulldog. Not much as changed their. HELP!2 days ago I Jailbroke my iPod touch (1.1.4 8g). Everything was fine and dandy, but today I was trying out different apps (such as summerboard) and I didn't like any of them so I uninstalled them. Some time after this I noticed my settings app (the one that came with my ipod before I jailbroke it) was gone! Earlier in the year I had good results using a fluorescent Mepps spinner, however just recently this lure has become less productive. I reverted to using brightly coloured soft rubber shads on weighted jig heads and these have been fairly successful, however they tend to get badly damaged by a combination of the pike's teeth and the unhooking process. Cancer testing....with an ULTRASOUND?

So a girl in my youth group (used to be a friend, not anymore because she was way too overbearing and getting on my nerves) thinks she has cancer. She went for an ultrasound today, and then told the youth group about it, and how they're "Studying the ultrasound". I'm just wondering if they use an ultrasound as a diagnostic tool in diagnosing cancer...and I wasn't quite sure how they could study an ultrasound unless it was recorded, like an x-ray, but on tape? I thought you had to have a mammogram to confirm cancer, since I thought an ultrasound was mostly to diagnose larger things than a lump in the ? Anyway...what do you think? Is she just saying it for attention, or is this a valid way to diagnose cancer?

Is my lack of skills in science and mathematics due to genetics?

One long but precise question.Basically i was pursuing a degree in the social sciences and was doing well, but i decided to to take another road in the trip and study biotechnology. Unfortunately this is not going well as i had hoped. I am barely ping in every cl and i had to drop one of the five which was physics as i could barely understand the subject. I have come to realize i do not think like a mathematician or a scientist clearly their way of thought is rather different than mine. I now know that social sciences was where i belong (as i am great in writing). So is my conclusion regarding my brain correct, could it be the way my brain functions. I ask this because i would like to be free from all the stress, i like to think that i really and in all honesty gave it my best shot but it seems undoubtedly that science is not the career of my type even though i do wish to learn about the natural world. For the past probably month and a half i have been some what overly bloated and gy and i cant really explain I thought it was just indigestion or buildup so i eliminated caffeine from my diet. I am not allowed to eat most chicken,pork,ham because I am allergic to some of te preservatives that they contain. In addition, I am lactose intolerant so my diet does not consist of dairy. Anyways, I have just felt that my food is not properly being digested and it feels like its getting stuck, which could explain the bloating. However, for the past four weeks my poop has changed one day im very consipated the next my poop will form like pebbles and sink then the next day it will float. Lol..just take a deep breath. Irregular periods aren't unheard of especially if you just became ually active. The bubbling thing is either gas or ovulation which happens about halfway between periods. You wouldn't actually feel the baby this early. Being extra gy and having to go to the bathroom more is probably just symptoms from your cycle. Everyone is different, but being gy is a very common one. And from the sounds of it, you two were very careful so you should be in the clear. Also keep in mind when/if you start birth control, your period may become more irregular before it gets on track but it should help it be more regular and also keep you from worrying so much between periods.

Does God hate me so much?

Last month I was accused of theft at my job. My employer demanded the money back within 30 days but just a week ago, I received a text that I didn't have to pay the money, that the debt was forgiven. This has ruined my 15 year career. I was accused of taking money that I did not take. I am not the only one in the office and not the only one with access to the money - although I told my boss the money had been intaken and where it was - even still have the text on my phone. I am ill and need monthly medications. When I was fired, I lost my insurance and with the doctors appointment and my medicine, it is over $1k a month, which I cannot afford. I don't understand, I was accused of stealing something that I didn't take. We cannot afford to pay our electric, rent or even put food on the table. This has destroyed my life and is terrorizing that of my family. Why does God hate me so much? I have prayed and prayed for a miracle and it is as if He has completely turned his back on me?? My entire life has been full of tribulations and it never seems to let up. I have no family or friends to turn to for help in my situations, as they are all barely surviving themselves. Why did God do this to me and leave me with no where to turn. I have asked for forgiveness of my sins and prayed that he turn my life around from this disaster but still I sit with no answer and no help. Next week I will be evicted from my home. I am having a moving sale to sell as much as I can to try and pay at least my car note for another month and put some food on the table, wherever that table might be. I just want to know why God hates me so much?

Question on antifreeze leakage?

I bought a 1994 Mazda Navaho last year and everything checked out okay but I have been having radiator problems ever since. I paid a mechanic $300 to have it fixed and he put some new hoses on it I believe and a new water pump. I drove it 40 miles and still had radiator leaks. I just put some radiator leak in it and it's been okay until this winter. I again was making a trip and checked the antifreeze and nothing again. I put more antifreeze in and it took it all on my trip home. I stopped into a mechanic shop and they were too busy and I took it to another one and they said I had a broken head gasket and heads. Well today I was driving it and it completely stopped and the battery light came on. I had it towed and a guy looked at my oil and there was no water in it (sign of a blown head gasket) and I've had no large amount of white moisture coming from the exhaust. It's been normal. What would your guess be what is wrong? I put a new battery in this past summer and I am guessing the alternator. I don't have alot of money for repairs as I am disabled. There has got to be a radiator leak somewhere. I am not too happy with the people I bought this vehicle from.

hi sam, firstly im sorry your going through this, it must be very distressing for you (and your children). My partner is almost the same, i did split from him for 5 wks but in the end he ground me down and i gave in. What i have learned is that i am now in control of the relationship and he is no longer aggressive. This situation is really bad for you and your kids but you have to be strong and firm. it did get easier with him the more i stood my ground and he was threatening suicide and kicking my door in!! (of which he never did any when i called his bluff i may add) There are refuges etc all over the country if you are serious, but i feel your self esteem is so low you dont think you can do it sam. Yes you can crush it, but it will taste really bad, so mix it with something that has a strong taste. And don't mix it with too much cause you will have to drink that much to be sure you get all the tylenol. You can mix it with any food also, but here again, keep the amount small, and then wash it down with something. They also make liquid tylenol, just be sure to check the strength and adjust it for your age.

Worst relationship situation i've ever been in :( please help?

I had a good friend for a while that I hung out with often. I met all of his friends and became very close to them. This friend told me he really cared for me and wanted to take our relationship further. I had just gotten out of a three year relationship a few months before and I was very honest with him about not feeling ready to commit to someone new, plus I didn't know if I liked him in that way. But after much encouragement from his best friends and from a talk with him, I decided to give him a chance because I knew he was a good guy, and I thought maybe it's what I needed after the harsh breakup I went through. But after about two weeks, I broke up with him because I looked at him too much as a friend, and didn't feel the romantic chemistry he felt for me. I was also much closer to his best friend than I was with him, and felt much more comfortable talking to him and hanging out with him, so I was confused because I felt as if I was starting to develop feelings for his best friend. I couldn't really see it going any further with this guy, so instead of dragging the relationship on, I ended it. Apparently though, he had had feelings for me for about two years prior to this, so he was devastated that when he finally got to date me, it ended so quickly. I feel miserable that I hurt him so badly and I just want to be friends with him again. I completely regret making the decision to date him, and I know I should've trusted my instinct that dating him wasn't right for me. He won't even speak to me now. Here's the curveball...his best friend and I continued to hang out after the breakup. One night I drunkenly confessed to him that I had been crushing on him, and he was so happy because he felt the same. After that, we didn't act on anything ually (except for kissing), but it was literally just me and him hanging out together. We grew SO close, and have had the best conversations and talked about literally everything. We can act silly together, and have so much fun, and we can also get deep and personal together. I haven't felt a bond with someone like this in a long time, and we both are falling for each other so hard. We make each other extremely happy and I can actually let my guard down after being heartbroken so badly with him. I trust him completely. We're not really sure how this happened, it just DID, and it is so confusing and terrible because the whole time we were feeling so guilty and wrong knowing that we were literally sneaking around behind his best friend's back. This guy loves my ex and has been his best friend for 7 years. He was so upset because he feels so guilty, but we're both SO happy and we deserve to be. We eventually had and it was incredible, and nothing changed after, it literally just became better. We're falling for each other really hard, and it's wrong, but it feels amazing at the same time. But I am just terrified of this turning badly. If my ex finds out, he will probably freak out. As it is, he basically hates me for breaking his heart and has just been extremely pissy over it. If he found out his best friend and I have been sneaking around and actually have legitimate feelings for each other, their friendship will be ruined. I asked this question before-but im still confused. I applied for a Secured Credit Card and it said that I have been conditionally approved for a Wells Fargo Credit Card (pending final confirmation that funds have been received to establish your Collateral Account) with a $800 credit line. So, does this mean that I have to send them 800 dollars or have that in my checkings? i talked to a rep yesterday and he said i needed to send $300, and my limit was 800 so i umed i would have 800 on my card when i recieved it. I called today and the woman asked me if i had 800 and i said no i only have 300 and she said that if i sent them 300 then that would be my limit. Im confused. So I've had an armpit LN that is swollen for almost a yr. When I found it I immediately went to GP. I went for an us/bloodwork per his request. Came back as nothing. I was pregnant when I found it so my ob sent me to a dr when it didn't change in size months later..had another us and mammagram. Came back again as nothing. So today I went back to my gp & he wants an MRI just to do a more detailed check. So I'm supposed to have this on Monday and I'm so nervous.I've had this for almost a year. Although I had tons of bloodwork through my pregnancy and now I've had multiple tests -- all saying it was nothing -- I'm nervous that the MRI could find something more. Aside from being pregnant I haven't noticed any other symptoms But I'm content that I've stayed on top of this. My GP almost couldn't believe the the dr didn't do something more than an ultrasound. Apparently us's can't always give the complete picture. Fingers crossed. Ladies stay on top of your exams..I'm only 30 and found this. If it is something bad, atleast I know I've stayed vigilant.

Yes, for I have so many recipes in my book. All containing way too much rich brown gravy, lots of bacon with the grease not gone to waste, Whole milk, never skim. Last night my boyfriend was setting up a tv in our room (we live together for 4 yrs now) and he got frustrated with it. I didn't know he was having trouble with it, and I tried to come into the room. My baby weights about 7.8 ounces (221 grams) and is 5.9 inches long (15cm). He's 17 weeks old according to the doctors calculations and we know is around 16 weeks. My sister is in a bit of a bind and wants to appeal a decion made by dhs.She can not afford an attorney and so far every where she turns is a dead end.Do they have public defenders for such things since its not the state thats trieing her? The most important is what this does to your present roster. Is team A hurting for an OF? Mostly a trade-off between Dotel and Broxton, although in the long run, Broxton will post better numbers. Myers has a high walk to strikeout ratio. His ERA is decent but he isn't a star. Sabathia is a great pitcher who is having an average season so far. Slowey has the wins but the rest of his stats are also average at best. Daisuke still isn't showing anything at all. Victorino may be the best part of this trade. Lots of big names in this bunch but not many are having a good season. I think team A wins but mostly because they get 4 fair players for 3 fair players.

Im suppose 2 get my menses 5 days back coz i had the chances 2 get pregnant. So i met the doctor and had urine test. According 2 the doc, the test result was negative, no sign of pregnancy. The only real problem here is that you can't really expect such a sensitive dog to get better eating a lower quality food like Pedigree, which has a lot of filler and unneccessary ingredients in it. Can I legally accept a drivers license and/or a social security card when I can plainly see it is a fake?

I work at an Apprenticeship, and the requirements for applicants is to have a valid drivers license and a valid social security card. MANY times I can plainly see that the identification is fake, however my "boss" tells me that we are not allowed to determine if an ID is fake or real...therefore we make a copy of it and move on as if its all ok and the ID is real. Is there ANY legal ramifications for accepting fake ID?
