I want to add particular Mp3 folder to Ipod?

I use Ipod II gen. I recently uploaded all the songs to my ipod via itunes by syncing everyting erasing songs in ipod from library..now I got 5 songs extra from my frnd and named it suppose XYZ on desktop, I want to now upload this folder to my ipod but how..I know thru itunes add XYZ folder then finally syncing but lets say in my library 800 songs it will erase everything in ipod then again put new to ipod but its rather time consuming... but is ther any fast method so that I can upload XYZ folder so ipod without earing music of ipod..? One of my Mp3 of Apacer I can put diretly XYZ folder by dragging to it..will it be possible in ipod...pls help.... plsssssssssssss
