Is suicide nature's way of removing unstable people from a population before they can reproduce?
Scientists say that most people who attempt or go through with suicide have some sort of mental/personality disorder(s). Many say it comes from chemical imbalances in the brain and is genetically linked. Biologically speaking, is the tenancy for people with mental and personality disorders to become suicidal nature's fail safe to remove them and their problematic genes from a given population before they can reproduce and p them on to the next generation? I know this sounds cynical, but It's an idea I've been thinking about for a long time.
