Against the rogam shot at 28 weeks.?

Hi, in my religious and personal beliefs I don't believe in taking any blood cultured shots or in blood transfusions. My doctor told me at my last check up that I had to get some sort of a rogam shot, because of my blood type. I've never had this type of shot before in my life and neither has anyone of my friends. any insight/info for my situation?
