Guys is this normal? (boyfriend stuff)?

so my boyfriend is always telling me im so amazing and that he loves me and stuff, but he doesn't really talk to me much. i mean, when i start a conversation he will talk but he never really can hold a conversation with me. when we weren't dating we could talk about EVERYTHING but now that we are dating he doesn't talk much. i don't understand how he is SO in love with me and thinks i am amazing if he cant even talk to me. plus i am a virgin and Christan so its not like he is getting the physical part of me. it think this is more than one question... haha
