Who is Olsen supposed to be in the movie "Burn After Reading" by the Cohen brothers?

In the beginning, Osbourne Cox goes into the room to speak with his boss about being fired... he doesn't know this, of course, and there are two other people in the room... Peck and Olsen.... I ume Peck is just another member of the agency... but Cox says, he knows Olsen by "reputation" and later on, he asks his Boss, "And why is OLSEN here!!??" What is the deal with Olsen... what's your take on it?
