What is a better metropolitan area, manila or cebu?

Cebu is the better metropolitian area. it's more picturesque during the day, the nightlife is vibrant, food is better (ngohiyong + lechon cebuano = pure win), it's easier to find places like hospitals and malls (whereas we have to weave our way thru merging lanes and u-turn slots in Manila), and it's 20 minutes away from the beach.
