Well the highland is divided into three zones because of elevation for one thing. There are separate elevations. Another is latitude. Places in higher latitudes receive less direct sunlight. Yet, another is the native flora and fauna. It's more plentiful in places in lower latitudes and elevations.

I'm getting my hair straightened in China and I heard MagicStraight was good, however when I looked up the basics on it, I became more worried about the side effects than the price. It says it causes more breakage and hinders the growth of the hair, and if the hair stylist isn't great, there will be awkward dents in the perm. Plus, it was also noted that if I tucked my hair behind my ear or use shampoo, it will cause dents as well...so I have to figure out how to keep my hair completely still for 2 days straight?? My hair is currently quite thick and wavy, but my hair will be much thinner once it's thinned and cut a bit (side question: should I get the perm first and then cut it, or vice versa?). Should I get it or not, and are the side effects really that bad?
